About Me

I'm a local lad, born in the mid seventy's in Mulbarton, Norfolk and have always loved exploring the area.  I am proud to live here in South Norfolk and love our unique rural and urban heritage.

I was educated at Hethersett High School, and completed my A levels at Eaton CNS School. I enjoyed two years at Norwich School of Art & Design before specialising, working towards an HND in Spatial Design at Bournemouth & Poole College of Art & Design.

Becoming interested in Architecture I completed my academic training at University of Portsmouth achieving over this time a First Class Honours Degree, a Post Graduate Diploma and an MA in Professional Practice and 'also' passing my RIBA exams, parts One (1999), Two (2002) and Three (2004).

I have nearly 15 years experience in Architecture and Design and have worked in practice locally as a fully qualified architect since 2004. During this time I have worked on a number of projects small and large ranging from New Schools, Care Homes, Social and Specialist housing projects winning awards for creative design for independent housing for disabled people.

In 2012 I established N J Myhill Architecture and enjoy working closely with householders to achieve their ideas whilst suggesting alternatives to best utilise space and existing property features.
